Professional Experience
I have over ten years of experience working with children and young people in educational settings. During my postgraduate studies I trained as a crisis counsellor and spent two years providing telephone support on an English-language crisis line in Tokyo. Today I work with teenagers, young adults and adults experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress, difficulties with self-esteem, relationship concerns and life transitions.
Approach
My approach is integrative, drawing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centred Therapy and Existential Therapy, and tailored collaboratively to each person's needs. My aim is to provide a supportive, respectful and confidential environment in which you can share your thoughts and feelings openly.
